Bruce's Custom Covers

Bruce's Custom Covers, the trading name of Aircraft Covers Inc, makes custom-fit protective covers for airplanes, helicopters, jets, gliders and QEC off-link jet engines from its factory at 18850 Adams Court in Morgan Hill, California. Founder Bruce started the business in late 1979 at the age of 26 in a garage in Palo Alto, developing patterns and sewing covers for the thousands of small aircraft at San Francisco Bay Area airports; the company outgrew the garage and later premises before moving to its current Morgan Hill facility, where it maintains nearly 15,000 developed products and creates new ones almost every day. Its catalogue covers rare and out-of-production aircraft as well as current models.

Bruce's background is in manufacturing and flying; his father Irv built travel trailers and used company aircraft, and his mother Jan learned to fly, and the company has flown in to Oshkosh for many years.

The range includes canopy covers (with or without the parachute panel covered, extended versions that reach the horizontal stabilizer, and hail protection options), canopy and engine cover combinations, engine covers and insulated engine covers, engine inlet plugs for G1 and for G2 through G7 models, wing root and NACA plugs, propeller and spinner covers for 3 and 4 blade propellers, wing covers in winter and all year versions including G3 patterns, wingtip and stabilizer tip pads, horizontal stabilizer covers, empennage covers, wheel pant covers and cockpit HeatShields.
