Bridewell is a UK cyber security and managed security services company founded in 2013 by its chief executive Anthony, who set out to build a firm focused on delivering complex cyber programmes and long-term client relationships. Headquartered at 40 Caversham Road, Reading, Berkshire, it has grown into one of the UK's largest independent cyber security providers and protects critical national infrastructure and other highly regulated organisations. Its leadership includes a chief commercial officer who was previously global marketing director at Airbus Cyber Security and managing director of Thales' cyber defence business for North America, and the firm displays a Heathrow supplier award among its recognitions.

Aviation

Bridewell's aviation practice helps airports and airlines secure the thousands of IT and operational technology systems unique to the sector and meet the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority, the Information Commissioner's Office, the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. The company says it has helped many of the UK's largest airports increase cyber resilience, and Manchester Airport Group's head of cyber security operations, Tony Johnson, is quoted on its site choosing Bridewell for its sector experience. Its research includes Cyber Security in Aviation 2024 and annual Cyber Security in Critical National Infrastructure reports, the 2026 edition of which found that 76 percent of civil aviation organisations see greater sophistication in attacks and ransomware-as-a-service activity, 39 percent rank increasing cyber resilience as their top challenge and 34 percent see data theft as the main threat to IT systems.
