Atitech S.p.A.

Atitech S.p.A. is an aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company based in Italy. It works from three bases, at Naples Capodichino, Rome Fiumicino and Olbia. The company says it is the largest independent MRO in the EMEA market, which covers Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Olbia base is dedicated to business jets.

Across its bases, Atitech has 12 hangars. Capodichino can hold up to 2 wide-body and 16 narrow-body aircraft, Fiumicino can hold 6 wide-body and 7 narrow-body aircraft, and Olbia can hold up to 8 business jets. The company says its client list has over 100 companies, including airlines, lessors, institutional bodies and government agencies.

Services include heavy and light base maintenance, 24/7 line maintenance, component repair, engineering and technical training. The company says it has line maintenance authorizations at 29 outstations, 20 in Italy and 9 abroad, including Rome, Naples, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Osaka, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Casablanca and Tunis.

Aircraft types covered include Airbus A220, A320 and A330, A340 and A350 families, Boeing 737, 767 and 777 types, the 737 MAX, Bombardier CRJ-700 and 900, Embraer ERJ 170 and 190, MD80 and MD90, and ATR 42 and 72. It also covers military types such as the P-72A, P-42A and B, and VC-319A.

The shop has workshops for mechanical and composite parts, avionics, structural parts and sheet metal, and wheels. The company has a new autoclave for its composites workshop and a painting bay. Its design organization carries out cabin modifications approved under EASA Part 21J.

Atitech is a Part 147 maintenance training organization. In November 2022 it acquired Alitalia Engineering and Maintenance, which the company says widened its services and locations. The company has been led by its chairman and chief executive since 2009.
