About Arion

Arion is a South Korean drone company that develops AI software and aircraft for fully autonomous unmanned systems. It was known as rgblab until 2026.

The company calls itself a drone full stack company. It designs both hardware and software and works in defense, smart cities and disaster safety. Its products hold an Innovation Product designation, which it presents as proof of its technology for public sector buyers.

Its main software product is the DAAP platform. DAAP is an AI command and mission decision system for drones. It uses what the company calls a Physical AI Closed Loop to study battlefield data in real time and propose drone missions. The software stack includes AIDE, C2-GCS, U-GCS and APCC TODA, as well as Arion GCS ground control software.

Arion also builds its own aircraft. Heavy-lift models in the C-80M and C-100M range are also listed.

Reported results include a 70 percent cut in target processing time, 38.8 percent better hit accuracy and a 49.9 percent rise in target identification, from army experiments in 2024 and 2025. A coal delivery trial held positioning error to 7 meters or less. Arion says it has taken part in 150 days of combat exercises over four years.

Arion won the 2023 MND Dronebot Challenge and the 2025 Army Chief of Staff Dronebot Challenge. Its solutions pages cover defense, smart city and public safety, including an AI field response platform for disasters. The head office is in Daegu, with a Seoul office and a plant and R&D center in Gyeongsan.
