Aerobee

Aerobee is a South Korean company in Seoul that makes AI drones for water rescue and water safety. Its drones can take off from water and land on water, and the company holds a patent for this. It calls its work an AI mobility solution for safety on the water.

The company says its drones keep working in tough conditions. They have IP56 protection against dust and water. They use AI to search for people, and they carry two sensors for extra safety. The drone has six rotors, and the company says this design adds stability. Aerobee describes its core features as AI search and rescue, safe water landing and stable flight.

For daytime rescue, the drone flies out over open water and delivers rescue gear. It sends back live video and location data, which helps rescuers act within the critical first minutes. For night search and rescue, it uses a high-brightness lighting system. This lets it look for targets on dark water and in poor visibility.

AI also helps with navigation and analysis. The drone flies a route that the AI calculates to make a search efficient. The AI studies video from the scene to support rescue decisions and to cut response time.

Aerobee also uses hyperspectral imaging with object recognition, working with a camera from KRISO. The company says this can find oil spills, green algae and pipes in marine accidents faster than normal video checks.

The company sells drones as device products, including one model named HEXA white 1. It says it works with different industries to provide solutions proven in real field use, and it offers customised drone services with fast response. It also accepts cooperation and partnership enquiries.

Aerobee has set goals for its future. They include selling 500 devices, working with 50 partner companies and growing to 50 team members.
