AccelUAV™
Autonomous defence systems, ISR and loitering munitions engineered in India
About AccelUAV™
AccelUAV is an Indian aerospace and defence technology company that works on unmanned systems. It builds tools that find, track and stop threats in the air and on the ground. The company is based in Hyderabad, and the site says it began in 2021.
Its work is split into five programs. Pralaya LM is a family of loitering munitions with selectable autonomy and a human step to commit or abort. Vinaashak is a counter-drone line of interceptors for short, medium and long range. C4 is a command and control picture that joins data from every sensor, platform and operator.
The other two programs are ISR and TacWatch. The ISR system is a VTOL aircraft that does not need a runway. It carries onboard AI and builds live tactical maps. TacWatch is a wrist device that detects radio signals and shows drone threats from connected sources.
The company describes one shared AI core with five layers. These cover sensing, understanding, command, action and platforms. Tools named on the site include radar, RF and EO/IR sensors, computer vision, target classification, mission software, simulation, autonomous navigation, edge AI and swarm work. The site says a person approves every major action.
Clients named on the site include the Indian Army, DRDO, Bharat Electronics, NHAI, CRPF and the governments of Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The leadership team says it has worked on unmanned programs with DRDO and the Indian Army. The site lists a careers page and a corporate office at Kukatpally Industrial Estate in Hyderabad.
The mission, as the site states it, is to move people away from the most dangerous parts of the battlefield by making unmanned systems more intelligent, autonomous and easier to scale. Each platform is built for contested radio conditions, so links and position hold when signals are jammed or spoofed.
