UPC Space Program

UPC Space Program is a non-profit association run by students in Terrassa, Spain. It aims to apply what students learn in industrial engineering, electronics, mechanics and aeronautics to real space and aerospace projects.

The program was founded in 2016. It began as a union of three student groups in Terrassa: Terrassa Rocket Team, Neslab and WeCopter. The groups joined to use the help from the university and its collaborators better. In 2025 the program passed 100 members. The site says this makes it the largest engineering association at ESEIAAT.

The program has four missions, called ATLAS, ARES, GRASS and HORUS. Each one has its own goals, but all share one aim. The site mentions designing and launching rockets, developing satellite technology and research on space systems.

The stated mission is to bring students closer to aerospace through real projects. The vision is to be a reference group at student level where students develop, integrate and test new technology. The core values are initiative, self-learning, ambition and inclusion.

The motto is For students, From students. Members pass knowledge from one generation to the next. Older members share their experience, and new members bring fresh ideas. Members gain hands on experience, teamwork and leadership skills.

The address on the site is 11 Carrer de Colom, Terrassa. The site has a contact form and links to LinkedIn, X and Instagram.
