American Hofmann

American Hofmann Corporation supports the balancing machines and measuring technology of the Hofmann group in the United States. Hofmann makes machines and systems that balance rotors and check how they run. Its customers include aviation and other industries.

The Hofmann product range has six groups. These are active balancing systems, portable devices, spin solutions, special solutions, universal machines and software for measuring systems. The group lists the industries it serves as automotive, energy, aviation, process industry, rail vehicles and machine tools.

Service is a big part of the offer. Hofmann says its customer service keeps machines and equipment ready for use and exactly calibrated. Regular maintenance by experienced balancing specialists finds small deviations early, before they cause a failure. The group offers custom maintenance contracts, certified test equipment and fast support after an unexpected breakdown.

Other services include contract balancing, where customers send parts to be balanced, and on-site balancing at the customer's plant. The group also offers a test and measurement service, training and seminars, a certification service in Germany, downloads and a glossary.

The American Hofmann team in the United States has a service hotline and separate contacts for customer service, technical support, spare parts and repairs, and contract and on-site balancing. The group's other sites include Hofmann Mess- und Auswuchttechnik in Germany and Hofmann Precision Balancing in Coventry in the United Kingdom. The group website is available in German, English and Spanish.
