AirSync

About AirSync

AirSync Inc. makes a self-installed flight data system for general aviation aircraft. The AirSync Bridge records avionics data in flight and, after the aircraft shuts down, uploads it automatically over built-in worldwide LTE to the AirSync web portal, from where it can be pushed to maintenance, logbook and flight analysis services. The company states that the hardware is designed and manufactured in the United States and that uploads typically complete under 90 seconds after shutdown.

Products

  • AirSync Bridge Gen 3: a self-install unit for Garmin (SD card), Avidyne (WiFi) and most GA avionics, with one year of Professional service included; the site quotes a fly-away cost from $1,799 (rates change; confirm with the company)
  • AirSync AIM Gen 2: a dealer-installed, STC approved avionics interface module for Collins Pro Line 21 and Pro Line Fusion aircraft, sold through Collins dealers
  • Entry and Professional annual service plans, with LTE data included and no separate carrier fees
  • A hardware leasing programme for flight schools, billed per flight hour at month end

What the data is used for

  • Maintenance: engine parameter graphing (EGT, CHT, oil pressure, fuel flow), exceedance alerts checked against POH limits after each flight, long-term trend charts, and automatic uploads to CAMP, Savvy Aviation, PlaneLogix and CrewChief Systems
  • Logbooks: aircraft logs in PlaneLogix and pilot logbooks in ForeFlight and LogTen Pro
  • Proficiency: flight replay in CloudAhoy and maneuver feedback via MasterPilot
  • Tax and accounting: flight, passenger manifest and fuel cost tracking with Aviation Tax Consultants
  • Flight schools and operators: FDM and FOQA programmes, exceedance alerting with custom limit profiles per aircraft type, Flight Schedule Pro integration, and reassignment of a unit to another tail in minutes

The site lists more than 40 integrations, including Coflyt, Skylegs, FlySto, Jet-Care and Truth Data, and names Embry-Riddle, CAE, L3Harris, Liberty University, Purdue, Daher and Verijet among its customers.

Work with Cirrus aircraft

The flight school page lists Cirrus SR20 and SR22 in the compatible training fleet alongside the Cessna 172, Piper Archer and Seminole, Diamond DA40 and DA42, Bonanza G36 and Tecnam types, and the compatibility checker on the site confirms support by aircraft type. Testimonials on the site come from a Cirrus SR22T owner, whose flights upload to CAMP automatically, and from a Vision Jet SF50 owner, and the maintenance page uses a Cirrus SF50 flight as its flight review example.
