3D Legal runs an aviation law practice for airlines. The firm says aviation is one of its core practice areas, and it has a separate website for it at aero.3dlegal.it. The practice advises airlines that operate in Italy and across the European Union, and the firm says it has done this since 2010.

A large part of the work is EU Regulation 261, the rule on passenger rights. The firm helps airlines meet the rule and handle compensation claims for delayed and cancelled flights, and it helps them manage disruption. It also guides airlines through procedures and investigations before national aviation authorities and the European Commission.

Other aviation services include competition and antitrust advice for the sector, litigation, contracts for airlines and aviation businesses, and airline insolvency and restructuring. The aviation site also offers an online tool that helps assess compensation under EU Regulation 261, estimate the amounts and create a first report. A practice brochure is available as a PDF.

The aviation team named on the site is Gennaro d'Andria, Angela Addessi and Federica Cinquetti. The firm also sponsored the IATA World Legal Symposium in Shanghai in February 2025, a conference on aviation law.
