VP Buildings

Varco Pruden Buildings (VP) is a manufacturer of pre-engineered steel building systems and a brand of BlueScope Buildings North America. The company has designed custom metal buildings since 1948 and works with a network of more than 750 trained VP Builders across the United States, together with architects and owners, to shape each building around what the project needs. Its aviation work covers aircraft hangars, maintenance facilities, private terminals, fleet operations centres and aviation support buildings, which is why it exhibits at business aviation and MRO events.

• Pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB): systems of engineered components designed to the project and factory-fabricated to tight tolerances for efficient site assembly
• Hybrid steel buildings that combine pre-engineered systems with conventional structural steel for large spans and complex loads
• SSR standing seam roof, machine-seamed into a single membrane, with millions of square feet in service

Aviation facilities

VP designs hangars around clear spans, hangar door systems, aircraft circulation and maintenance workflows, and can accommodate large aircraft and specialised maintenance operations. Early planning and phased coordination with builders help keep aviation operations, aircraft access and safety intact during construction at active airfields, and integrated coordination identifies constructability and access problems before they affect schedules.

VP Command

VP Command is the company's proprietary platform that connects design, pricing and engineering review in one view, so builders and customers can compare options and see in real time how each decision affects cost, schedule and structure before breaking ground. The company also builds data centre campuses, warehouses, schools and community buildings, and has supplied mission-critical facilities across North America.
