Uyguner Deri makes leather in Istanbul, Turkey. It produces leather for upholstery, clothing, saddlery and footwear. Its upholstery leather goes into cars, yachts, trains, aircraft and furniture.

The company was founded in 1935 as Uyguner Deri Sanayi ve Ticaret. It worked in the Kazlıçeşme area of Istanbul until the end of 1992. In 1993 it moved to the Tuzla Organised Leather Industry Zone, where it still makes leather. It aims to deliver quality products on time and follows fashion and technology trends. It keeps investing in research and development.

Its upholstery leather is sorted into groups for furniture, yachts, trains, aviation and cars. The furniture ranges include the Miura, Bella, Chester, Nappa, Antik, Petra, Alpi and Mont series. The automotive ranges include Relax, Espada, Espada Perla and Lugano Auto.

The company explains that leather for transport must be comfortable, hard-wearing and good looking. For cars, buyers look for flexible leather that keeps its colour and lasts a long time. For yachts, leather must resist damp and salt, stay bright and be easy to clean. The company also lists leather for aircraft seats and train cabins.
