Aeroworks

Aeroworks is a manufacturer of components for the aviation industry, with a design facility in the Netherlands and its head office in Middenmeer. Its products are also used in trains, yachts and medical applications. The company has six locations worldwide and about 750 team members, with competence centers in Thailand and the Netherlands. It says it designs, develops and manufactures in house, including all chemical processes.

Test laboratory

• Static testing, including flatwise tensile, short beam flexure, peel and long beam flexure tests
• Flammability testing to CS and FAR 25.853
• Smoke density and toxicity testing, including Airbus and Boeing methods
• Heat release testing by the OSU method
• Accelerated life cycle testing of hardware such as lavatory latches, up to 1.5 million cycles
• All testing is done under the AS9100D certificate and the responsibility of an EASA design organization, with a test certificate issued for results
