Urbe Aero GmbH

Urbe Aero GmbH is an aircraft maintenance and airworthiness company at Wiener Neustadt East airfield (LOAN), Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin Strasse 9, Wiener Neustadt, Austria. It is an EASA Part-145 and Part-M CAMO organisation and has maintained and repaired aircraft, engines and components since 1997. The group also runs Urbe Aero Srl and a flight academy at Roma Urbe airport (LIRU) in Italy.

Services

Urbe Aero does base and line maintenance and sends teams to customers across Europe and beyond, including AOG support through its own team and partner network. Work includes:

• Scheduled maintenance and checks, troubleshooting and defect rectification
• Component replacement up to engines and propellers, plus corrosion and fatigue checks
• Service Bulletin and Airworthiness Directive compliance
• Technology upgrades and cabin refurbishment
• Composite, sheet metal and fabric repairs, and welding of structures, seat frames, exhausts and engine mounts
• Continuing airworthiness management, airworthiness reviews, export and import recommendations, and technical records

Aircraft and avionics

The turbine maintenance center focuses on the Daher TBM 700, 850 and 900 series, Pilatus PC-6 and PC-12, Piper PA46-500TP, King Air 90 and Cessna 208 series. Urbe Aero is also an EASA Part 21 Subpart J design organisation, approved for design changes covering avionics, electrical systems, cabin interiors and related structure.

FBO and facilities

LOAN has a 1,067 m concrete runway (09/27), a refuelling station and customs.
