Upteko

Upteko ApS is a Danish drone company founded in 2018 by Mads Joergensen, Benjamin Mejnertz and Sebastian Duus to develop drone applications for the offshore and maritime sector. What began as a hobby competing in RC helicopter competitions grew into a business, and in 2019 customers selected Upteko to deliver several end-to-end projects. The company collaborates with the engineering consultancy DIS-Creadis and its more than 700 engineers, has been part of the European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre, received support from Den Danske Maritime Fond in 2020 and EUDP funding for a project on drones in offshore wind, and reports the first installation of its drone system on a RoRo vessel and a successful demonstration of an autonomous drone for offshore vessels. Its stated mission is to simplify and standardise advanced drone technology with a safe supply chain.

• Payloads including visual, thermal, LiDAR and multispectral cameras, accessories, and Skydroid H16 and H30 ground controllers

Upteko serves defence customers with reconnaissance, surveillance and border patrol, police forces with crime scene analysis, search and rescue and traffic accident reconstruction, fire departments with fire assessment, wind energy operators with autonomous turbine inspection and equipment delivery, and government and construction clients where data security and regulatory compliance matter. Customer and partner logos on its site include Ostjyllands Brandvaesen, Beredskabsstyrelsen, DFDS, Ineos, Fraunhofer and Korber Supply Chain.
