Trepel Airport Equipment GmbH

TREPEL Airport Equipment GmbH makes ground support equipment for airports, airlines and ground handlers, with production in Tauberbischofsheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The TREPEL business was founded by Ingo Trepel in 1946, built catering vehicles in the 1960s and the first cargo high loaders in Europe from 1973. The airport division became TREPEL Airport Equipment GmbH in 1996. TREPEL loaders are used in more than 120 countries.

• Cargo high loaders from 3.5 to 35 tonnes capacity, including the CHAMP 350
• Loader transporters: CCL 35 S (3.5 tonnes, suited to the A320 family) and TRANS 70 (7 tonnes)
• CHARGER 380 towbarless aircraft tractor for pushback, intergate towing and maintenance tows, suited to B777 and A340 types, also available as the electric CHARGER 380e
• Conventional aircraft tractors for pushback, repositioning and maintenance towing of commercial and most military aircraft
• CHARIOT simulation-based training for aircraft tractor and ground vehicle drivers

TREPEL provides sales, customer service and spare parts from Tauberbischofsheim, with branches in France, Dubai, the USA and Hong Kong and more than 60 partners worldwide.
