ACE Part Repairs

ACE is presented as a way to repair individual parts at lower cost than replacement. TAP M&E says it has been repairing engine parts for more than 50 years and develops its own repair processes. The repairs follow OEM manuals and EASA and FAA approvals. Parts covered include turbine blades and vanes, compressor blades and vanes, and spools, discs and casings. The company offers a single point of contact for engine, component and accessory repairs, and says repair reduces scrap, avoids new part costs and helps to optimise on-wing time.
