TA Aerospace

TA Aerospace designs and manufactures engineered aircraft clamps, molded elastomers, grommets, fire-resistant seals and thermal insulation products for use in extreme environments. Its facility is in Valencia, California, with about 90,000 square feet of manufacturing space and approximately 250 employees. The company says it has more than 75 years of history.

History

• 1942: TA Manufacturing Company founded by Thomas and Associates
• 1989: Esterline acquires six Criton divisions, including TA Aerospace
• 1999: Kirkhill Rubber and TA Manufacturing merge
• 2008: TA, Kirkhill, Darchem, NMC and Hytek merge into Esterline Engineered Materials
• 2019: Esterline acquired by TransDigm, and the business becomes TA Aerospace
