About Stieblich Hallenbau

Stieblich Hallenbau designs and builds steel and glass buildings from its base in Güstrow, in the Rostock region of northern Germany. It delivers them complete and ready to move in.

The company was founded in 1990 in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is an owner-managed family business that works as a general contractor. It handles the whole project, from planning and design to production and handover. It has sold steel construction work on the international market for decades.

Its work is grouped into building construction, office construction and turn-key construction. In each case the customer receives a finished structure made of steel and glass. The company describes its buildings as carefully designed, technically well made and visually pleasing. It also runs a factory shop and shows a Building of the Month on its pages.

The company holds a number of professional approvals. It runs an engineering and planning office registered with the VDI. It can plan and obtain building permission in 16 German states. It has the higher certificate of suitability, Class E, for steel load-bearing structures up to EXC3 under EN 1090-2. It also has a state-certified professional fire protection planner and sworn experts for the metal construction trade, and it builds fire protection doors.

Stieblich invests in staff training, health programmes and new equipment to keep up with trends and technology. It also carries out research and development with science and business partners. These include Fraunhofer institutes in Rostock, the University of Rostock, Stralsund Polytechnic and ATI Küste. Its research projects are named SimPro, EnergieSys and SECURELIFT.
