Skypuzzler

Skypuzzler is a Danish deep tech company that develops integrated Digital Air Traffic Control (iDATC) so that drones, crewed aircraft and other airspace users can operate safely in shared and congested airspace. Founded in January 2022 by experienced air traffic controllers and computer scientists, the company works with drone operators, UTM providers, air navigation service providers and authorities to scale Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone services, in line with the ambitions of the EU Drone Strategy 2.0. It is registered in Denmark under CVR DK-43004433.

Recognition and partners

Skypuzzler won the Product Track prize of the EU Agency for the Space Programme's CASSINI Challenges, was the first start-up to win the Air Traffic Management Award in the category Shaping our Future Skies, and was nominated for EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 in the tech category. It is supported by EIT Urban Mobility, a body of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, and takes part in several drone, aviation and space projects. Partner logos on its site include DSV, Thales and Frequentis. The company has pursued ISO certifications covering quality, environment and data security, and its team spoke at Harmonized Skies 2026 in Tokyo on the conditions needed for large-scale drone operations.
