SkyNRG
Sustainable aviation fuel supplier and plant developer in Amsterdam
About SkyNRG
SkyNRG is a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) company based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The website says the company has been a change maker in aviation since 2009. It describes itself as a global leader in sustainable aviation fuels, focused on supplying and producing high integrity SAF.
SkyNRG supplies SAF to airlines and corporate travel buyers. The company says it has sourced, blended and distributed SAF to airlines and corporates worldwide since 2009. Its Fly with SAF programs are offered to airlines and to corporates.
SAF is a drop in fuel that can be blended with fossil jet fuel without changes to aircraft or airport infrastructure. The website says SAF cuts lifecycle CO2 emissions by around 80% compared with fossil jet fuel. It is made from sustainable feedstocks and meets all physical and safety requirements.
The company is developing dedicated SAF production plants in Europe and the US. Its projects include SkyNRG Delfzijl (DSL-01) in the Netherlands, Project Wigeon in the US, Synkero in the Port of Amsterdam, and SkyKraft, an e-SAF production plant in Skelleftea, Sweden.
SkyNRG also offers SAF advisory for industry players and research and development on SAF technology and pathways. The company says it supports the industry through a rapidly changing landscape for sustainability in aviation.
SkyNRG is a certified B Corp. Its operations are certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) and the CORSIA scheme. It has an independent Sustainability Board of NGOs and scientists, which advises on feedstocks and sustainability issues, and a worldwide NGO network.
The website calls SkyNRG the trusted strategic partner for the aviation industry, governments and some of the world's largest organizations. Recent press releases include the SAF Market Outlook 2026, prepared with ICF, and the SkyNRG Impact Report 2025. The site invites partners to join its collaborative partnerships programme. Its knowledge centre covers news, policy and sustainability topics. A page on SAF technology and pathways explains the basics of sustainable aviation fuel.
