Sigma Aerospace Metals Germany

Sigma Aerospace Metals, Germany GmbH is a distributor of aerospace-quality metal semi-finished products based in the Bremen logistics centre. It is an independent branch of Sigma, LLC, which is headquartered in New York and began supplying the aerospace industry 26 years ago, with the group founded in 1994. The Bremen branch was set up in May 2016 as a German-American company, and a further branch opened in Pennsylvania in 2019. In each of the three locations, office and warehouse are on one site, giving staff direct access to stock for fast quotation and short delivery times.

Products and services

• Aluminium, titanium, steel, nickel-based and other high-temperature and super alloys in sheet, plate, bar and other semi-finished forms sourced only from approved suppliers and well-known mills
• Direct imports from the United States without intermediate dealers, with the option of uncleared goods from the company's bonded free-trade warehouse
• Processing beyond pure distribution: sheets supplied foiled, cut, marked, engraved or drilled, and face milling or grinding through a NADCAP-certified partner
• Daily shipping by air, road or sea from Bremen, with special packaging and dedicated boxes; Sigma USA, located near JFK airport and the New Jersey piers, delivers daily to carriers with its own trucks

Sigma Aerospace Metals Germany is certified to DIN EN 9120:2018 and ISO 9001:2015. Full certification and traceability of all metals back to the original source is documented and available on request, and a shared IT system across the group guarantees complete traceability. The company describes itself as a service provider rather than a pure dealer, with decades of experience on both the German and the American markets.
