Peraton

Peraton is a technology and national security company based in Reston, Virginia. It supports every branch of the US Armed Forces and US government agencies in space, intelligence, cyber, defense, homeland security, citizen security, health and aerospace.

Aerospace and air traffic control

Peraton wants to lead the FAA's program to modernise America's air traffic control system. It says it brings systems integration experience with radar, ADS-B, air traffic management platforms and flight based systems on large government programs, and that it has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in related technology. It is a prime contractor for NASA and the Department of Defense.

Heritage

Peraton was spun out of Harris Corporation in 2017. It then acquired Solers (2019), Northrop Grumman's Federal IT and Mission Support Solutions business (2021), Perspecta (2021) and ViON. The company says its heritage companies go back more than 125 years.
