Owens Machine & Tool Co. is a precision machining company in Lewisville, Texas. It runs a modern precision manufacturing facility and serves customers in aerospace, defense, space, energy and industrial markets. It is part of the Precinmac portfolio of companies.

The company machines complex, close-tolerance parts for demanding uses. Its work includes advanced CNC milling, turning and hard metal machining. It supports customers from prototype development through production, and it helps them solve hard manufacturing problems. Owens works with a wide range of materials. It lists titanium as a specialty. It also machines exotic alloys such as Inconel, Ampcoloy, MP35 and silicone iron. Plastics and composites include Delrin, Isoplast or Kydex, and Torlon. Metals include aluminum 6061-T6 and 2024, all steels including the 41xx series, all series of stainless steel, copper, brass and other mainstream metals. It also machines castings and forgings.

Quality runs through the shop. Owens uses an AS9100 certified quality management system built around continuous improvement. It runs regular root cause analysis and ongoing employee training. For inspection it uses Wenzel CMM and Revo Head measurement systems, so parts are checked at each stage of production.

The company holds ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certification. It is also DFARS compliant and ITAR compliant.
