Orbit International

Orbit International Corp. is a Hauppauge, New York holding company whose subsidiaries have designed and manufactured rugged hardware, software and integrated systems for the military and major industries since 1957. Traded on the pink sheets under ORBT, it is the parent of the Orbit Electronics Group and the Orbit Power Group, which supply subsystems and major components to prime contractors, domestic and foreign government procurement agencies and research laboratories, with a high percentage of repeat customers on new and recurring programmes.

Orbit Electronics Group

• Ultra-rugged human-machine interface (HMI) devices and operator interfaces built to withstand battlefield, shipboard and airborne conditions
• Orbit Instrument, which designs and manufactures customised electronic subsystems and major components for military aircraft, shipboard, handheld and ground-based programmes, as well as severe non-military applications
• Q-Vio, a supplier of OEM sunlight-readable, LED-backlit LCD display modules built in a Class 1000 clean room, with quick-turn prototypes, touch screens, anti-reflective windows, controller card configuration, single-board computer integration and custom rack-mount plates
• All divisions ISO 9001:2015 certified and registered

Orbit Power Group

• Behlman Electronics, which manufactures custom and off-the-shelf power units, AC power sources, frequency converters and uninterruptible power supplies, plus electronic products for measurement and display
• High-reliability power supplies for commercial, industrial and military applications without the cost of full-custom designs

Company

Orbit seeks acquisitions of well-run companies in the electronics and power markets, generally leaving acquired businesses and their managers to operate as before, and is led by chief executive officer Mitchell Binder and chief financial officer David Goldman. The company publishes press releases, investor relations information and standard quality assurance clauses, and attends events such as Quad A (AAAA) and Sea-Air-Space.
