Oneworld Alliance

oneworld is a global airline alliance. It links member airlines so that travellers can use shared airport lounges, priority services and frequent flyer benefits across the network. The website is aimed at passengers, corporate travel buyers and meeting planners. Its news shows that all 15 members have committed to the Buckingham Palace Declaration.

The alliance's members include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Fiji Airways, Hawaiian Airlines, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian and SriLankan Airlines. Each member keeps its own frequent flyer programme.

Members of the alliance get priority benefits, including lounge access, priority check-in and priority boarding. Status is set in three tiers: Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. A member airline's top tier status is matched to a oneworld tier. Emerald and Sapphire members can use more than 600 airport lounges worldwide.

Travellers can search flights on the website, plan a round the world trip, and find hotel partners. The site also offers a tool for finding lounges, fast track locations and airport terminal maps.

For businesses, oneworld offers a global corporate travel programme. It provides one legal contract with terms up to four years, and a single oneworld contact for each customer. A meetings and events sales tool was relaunched in October 2026. In the same month, oneworld also announced an innovation summit and a multi-carrier digital check-in across its network.
