About Oman Airports

Oman Airports is a government company that manages and runs the civil airports in the Sultanate of Oman. Its head office is in Muscat. The site says it is affiliated with the Oman Investment Authority and was set up in 2002.

The company runs Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport, Duqm Airport and Sohar Airport. In 2019 it added regional airports in the oil concession areas of Fahud, Marmul and Qarn Alam. The site also lists PDO Airports in its menu. It says it provides airport operations and infrastructure management, such as ground services, terminal buildings, cargo buildings, runways, aprons, car parking and other facilities.

Ground handling is done by a subsidiary, TRANSOM Handling, which has been part of Oman Airports since 2021. The site says it is the first ground handling provider in the Sultanate and works with 32 airline clients. It aims to contract with airlines at all airports in Oman, including the oilfield airports.

The company gives its mission as enabling global and national connectivity while helping growth. Its vision is an exceptional travel experience, and its goal is to grow gateways to beauty and opportunity. Its values are commitment, excellence, respect, team work and opportunity.

The website has pages for each airport, a media center with news, a careers page, a contact form and a support line on +968 24351234. It is available in English and Arabic. The site notes that Wi-Fi is available at the airports and describes training, business services and cargo guidance.
