ANA - Aeroportos de Portugal, SA

ANA, Aeroportos de Portugal is the company that manages Portugal's public airports under a concession supporting civil aviation. It runs ten airports across mainland Portugal, the Azores and Madeira. Since September 2013 it has been part of VINCI Airports.

Airports

• Mainland Portugal: Lisbon, Porto, Faro and the Beja civilian terminal
• Azores: Ponta Delgada, Horta, Santa Maria and Flores
• Madeira: Madeira and Porto Santo

Business activity

Besides running the public airport service, the group operates commercial and advertising spaces at the airports, real estate linked to airport operations (commercial buildings and hotels), car parks and car rental services, which it calls its extra-aviation business. ANA also holds the full share capital of Portway, which provides ground handling services to air transport businesses and was founded in July 2000.

Innovation and environment

The ANA site lists work on biometric passenger processing, an innovation programme called Ideas with wings, the Life Moonset project, the WebTrak noise tool and environmental management of its airports.
