Nanovac

Nanovac AB is a Swedish manufacturer and developer of vacuum system solutions, including thermal vacuum chambers for the space industry and physical vapour deposition (PVD) systems for research. Based at Foretagsvagen 3 in Staffanstorp, near Malmo, the company draws on more than 30 years of experience in vacuum technology projects and combines mechanical and physical vacuum know-how with the automation of demanding vacuum applications. Its name reflects its two fields, nanotechnology and vacuum technology, and it has registered the trademark Will It Survive in Space?

Services

Nanovac carries out on-site and off-site software and hardware upgrades of control systems and control logic for a wide range of vacuum equipment, including plasma etch and deposition tools, with cable loom replacements, control and electrical cabinet replacements and GUI customisation. It also offers thermal vacuum testing at its Staffanstorp facility, with advanced thermal cycling under ANSI ISA 88 traceability, residual gas analysis (RGA) and outgassing measurement with a thermoelectric quartz crystal microbalance (TQCM) for test campaigns on space hardware.

Events

The company exhibits at the Small Satellite Conference in Salt Lake City, Space Tech Expo USA in Anaheim and the Winter Satellite Workshop in Helsinki, and was featured in the Swedish space industry publication Rymden for livet pa jorden.
