Naitec

Naitec is an Italian software company that designs airport IT systems. It is based in Treviso, Italy, and is part of the SAVE Group, which runs airports in the Venice area.

The company has built software for more than 30 years. Its tools manage and improve the daily processes and services of an airport. Naitec builds them in modules, so they can link to other systems, be changed for each customer and be switched on step by step. It says its work follows new technology and new rules. Its quality and information security systems are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001.

Naitec organises its products in eight groups. Flights and resource management includes the airport operational database, flight management, airport collaborative decision making and resource management. Handling management covers handling services, staff rostering, billing for ground handlers and cargo. Baggage tools cover departure and arrival reconciliation, lost baggage and self bag drop. The baggage tracking suite is built to meet IATA resolution 753.

Lost and found software works with WorldTracer, and it includes mobile apps and a self-service kiosk for passengers. Border and security tools cover automated border control, automatic boarding pass checks and airport safety management. Digital signage covers flight information displays, announcements and dynamic wayfinding. Passenger tools cover people with reduced mobility and car park booking. Airport intelligence tools offer dashboards, passenger flow simulation and disruption management.

Naitec serves airport operators and ground handlers. Its systems cover both commercial and general aviation. The company says its software runs at more than 30 airports, in Italy and abroad. In 2022 its systems handled more than 552,000 flights and over 50 million passengers, and tracked over 38 million bags.

Customers include the airports of Venice, Treviso, Verona, Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, Catania, Cagliari, Olbia, Bergamo, Florence, Pisa and Genoa. Others are Brussels South Charleroi and Dakar, where it worked with Solari Udine. Naitec offers solutions for airports of every size, from local airports with under one million passengers a year to hubs with more than eight million.
