Lufthansa Technical Training GmbH provides professional aviation technical training. The company serves approximately 600 customers worldwide, offering over 14,000 training days annually. It has trained about 150,000 people so far. Training is designed for aviation technical staff including aircraft maintenance professionals and covers a wide range of needs.

Training options include vocational training commissioned by Lufthansa Technik for seven aeronautical professions, basic training to prepare students for an Aircraft Maintenance License (AML), and aircraft type training. Type training covers type ratings as well as differences courses for most standard aircraft and engine types. Practical experience is provided with dedicated training aircraft.

Lufthansa Technical Training operates customer service centers in Frankfurt and Hamburg, Germany, and also trains internationally. Partners abroad include a joint venture in China with HNA Aviation Technic aligned with Chinese aviation authorities and cooperation with Temasek Polytechnic Singapore.

The company utilizes modern learning methods, such as online distance learning and a virtual aircraft environment called Spheric View, to enhance understanding. They customize training solutions to meet client requirements and improve qualification efficiency, aiming to reduce training costs.
