Loedige Asia

Lödige Industries is a German material flow and logistics systems group headquartered at Wilhelm-Lodige-Strasse 1 in Warburg, with regional subsidiaries across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and North America, including offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Sydney that serve the Asian and Pacific markets. The group plans, produces, installs and services solutions wherever heavy loads must be moved, from air cargo terminals to warehouses, production logistics and automated car parking, and emphasises international knowledge transfer and shared project management methods between its offices.

Air cargo handling

Lödige offers a complete portfolio for every area of an air cargo terminal, from planning through production and installation to maintenance. Its equipment is built for continuous use in demanding cargo environments, is IATA compliant and ergonomically designed, modular and scalable to any automation level, and ready for integration with digital control systems and IT. Products include:

• ULD handling systems for the safe transfer of unit load devices from build and break areas to automated storage and airside transfer
• Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) that move ULDs flexibly across the terminal around the clock
• Elevating transfer vehicles (ETVs) running on rails in storage aisles to lift and move ULDs in high-bay racks
• Airport storage solutions and the Cargo Professional software suite for terminal control

The equipment is designed with energy-efficient drives, long service life and recyclable materials to lower environmental impact and operating cost, and is in daily use at major cargo hubs worldwide. A recent project automated the Air France KLM Martinair Cargo perishables centre at Paris-Charles de Gaulle for temperature-sensitive cargo.

Other activities

Lödige also supplies SHERPA goods lifts and ESCORTA lifts for goods and people, AGV-ready goods lifts for automated warehouses, production and distribution centre logistics, semi-automated and fully automated car parking systems, with Swiss-Park now part of the group, and modernisation and service for existing material flow and parking systems.

Lödige appears in the exhibitor lists of Air Cargo Europe 2027, Air Cargo Southeast Asia 2027 and the TIACA Air Cargo Forum 2026, and is a TIACA member.
