Jeppesen
Flight planning, navigation charts and FliteDeck software from Englewood, Colorado
About Jeppesen
Since 1934, Jeppesen has served the aviation industry. Captain E.B. Jeppesen began by selling the world’s first reliable aviation charts from his home in Utah. The company later moved to Denver and has grown alongside the industry for more than 90 years. It started with the famous little black book and now delivers advanced digital solutions.
In 2025, Boeing sold Jeppesen, ForeFlight, and OzRunways to Thoma Bravo. The company now operates independently as Jeppesen ForeFlight. This return to independence allows the business to move faster and innovate without limits. It continues its long history of being disruptive in the aviation technology market.
Jeppesen offers solutions for commercial, business, general, and government and military aviation. It views itself as a partner to its customers rather than just a provider. The organization focuses on driving digital aviation transformation through practical and inventive products. Relationships and collaboration with users guide its development process.
The company provides navigation solutions including charts and airway manuals, FliteDeck Pro, ForeFlight Mobile, Jeppesen NavData, airport moving maps, and a NOTAM management tool. Its flight planning and dispatch offerings include Fleet Insight, FliteBrief, dispatch solutions, weather services, weight and balance tools, and international trip planning. These tools support safe and efficient flight operations.
Jeppesen also supplies crew solutions for pairing, rostering, tracking, fatigue risk management, and manpower planning. Its network and operations management tools cover aircraft routing, operations control, and tail assignment. Additional offerings include Total Airspace and Airport Modeler, Jeppesen Distribution Manager, Emissions Insights, and developer tools such as APIs and mobile SDKs.
Training and pilot supplies round out the portfolio. The company offers a dispatcher certification course, FAA pilot training solutions, and additional classroom training. It also provides data management solutions that consolidate processes and streamline operations from ground to air through intuitive user interfaces.
A culture of quality and trust drives product development. The company engages in continuous conversations with customers to improve its digital aviation tools. Employees take ownership of their work to ensure only quality products and services reach the market.
