Avionics Support Group

Avionics Support Group, Inc. (ASG) is an avionics engineering, systems integration and FAA-PMA manufacturing company in Miami, Florida. It works mainly for airlines, aircraft manufacturers and modification centres, developing supplemental type certificates, integrating and upgrading avionics, fabricating wire harnesses and installation kits and supporting installations on site around the world. Its office and factory are about 20 miles south of Miami International Airport and house engineering, manufacturing, product development and administration.

Services

• Avionics engineering: STC development, systems integration, aircraft modernisation and FAA mandate compliance, with FAA DER and DAR staff in house
• Manufacturing: wire harnesses, installation kits, CNC machined parts and spares under FAA-PMA approval, used by commercial aviation and the US military
• Installation support: on site technical support by avionics installers for each kit the company supplies

The engineering staff has, according to the site, more than 90 years of combined experience on Boeing, Airbus, McDonnell Douglas, Bombardier and Embraer airliners. A current STC list for its approved modifications is published on the site.
