Jedo Technologies

JEDO Technologies is a French water jet cutting specialist with close to 40 years of experience, headquartered at 260 rue du Chêne Vert in Labège, near Toulouse, and operating a second site at 4 rue Jacques Cartier in La Rochelle since 2020 to serve companies on the Atlantic coast. Established in the Toulouse region for more than 30 years, it has built its know-how with the historic players of the aeronautical industry and now works for sectors including aeronautics, space, defence, naval defence, nuclear, boatbuilding and general industry, with many of its cut parts in orbit aboard spacecraft.

Water jet process

• Water pressurised to 6,000 bar and channelled through a diamond nozzle, leaving at more than 1,000 metres per second to form an extremely fine and powerful jet
• Addition of a specific abrasive sand to cut metals, composites and other materials with precision and without heat-affected zones
• Parts from the smallest components to very large pieces such as boat parts

Services

• Supply chain management from raw material purchasing to delivery of finished parts, with an industrial set-up designed to handle last-minute orders and the tightest lead times
• Smart industrialisation, material optimisation and cost control, with traceability of material, process and inspection
• Prototyping, studies, testing and reverse engineering, and support from the design phase of a project
• Management of subcontracted operations such as heat treatment, surface treatment, bending, bonding and machining, following customer requirements and approvals

Quality

In spring 2025 JEDO Technologies renewed its EN 9100 and ISO 9001 certifications for the Toulouse site and obtained the same certifications for the new La Rochelle site; EN 9100 is the quality assurance standard for the aeronautical, space and defence industries. The company says proximity to customers ensures local contact and maximum responsiveness, that its clients include all the main contractors of the Toulouse aerospace sector and the leaders of naval defence, and that it supports innovation projects in a constantly evolving industry. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm.
