About IPSA
IPSA is a French aeronautics and space engineering school, founded in 1961, with campuses in Paris-Ivry, Toulouse and Lyon. Its website says it trains air and space enthusiasts through a five-year engineering programme, a three-year bachelor's degree in aeronautics, and MSc and MBA work-study programmes. The engineering programme is accredited by the CTI, the Commission des Titres d'Ingenieur, and the school received its first accreditation in 2011.
Programmes
- A five-year integrated master in engineering, with nine specialisation majors that include cyber, data and artificial intelligence, embedded systems and telecommunications, space launchers and satellites, financial engineering for aerospace programmes, and aerospace supply chain and operations engineering
- A master's degree in aeronautical engineering
- MSc programmes in aerospace propulsion, autonomous aerospace systems, space launchers and satellite engineering, and space systems engineering
- A three-year bachelor's degree with two specialisations, and an MBA
The school says its curriculum is taught in English from the first year of the bachelor's degree to the fifth year of the engineering programme, with language courses and international mobility. Its research units cover materials, mechanics, fluids and energy, signals and artificial intelligence, and control, optimisation and decision.
Labels and employment
IPSA holds the EUR-ACE label issued through ENAEE, the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education, which certifies that its engineering degree meets European criteria, and the Welcome to France label for its reception of international students. The school states that every graduate finds a job in less than two months, with an average first salary of 42,350 euro gross per year. Companies can submit internship and work-study offers through the website, and the school describes employability and close links with industrial and university partners as a cornerstone.
International office
Exchange and partnership programmes are handled by the International department at the Ivry-sur-Seine campus.
