Introba

Introba is a building engineering and consulting firm with offices in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Serbia, Australia and Singapore. It designs building and infrastructure systems, and aviation is one of its main sectors. It has more than 1,000 employees.

The firm was formed in 2022. It brought together Integral Group, Ross & Baruzzini and Elementa. Ross & Baruzzini was founded in 1953, and Introba says it has more than 70 years in business. It reports more than 100 net zero energy projects. It also reports more than 700 projects certified under LEED, BREEAM, Living Building Challenge and Green Star.

Introba supports clients from early strategy through design, construction and long-term performance. Its work covers building systems engineering, sustainability strategy, digital advisory and analytics. Its solutions include climate and sustainability, data centers, design analytics, technology systems, wireless systems, and security and resilience. It also plans laboratory and medical equipment.

Aviation is a named sector. Introba offers baggage handling system design and aviation support systems. It says its experience spans more than 140 commercial airports worldwide, from small to large hubs. Its team covers planning, assessments, design, procurement, installation and commissioning. The systems include automated baggage handling, and explosive and trace detection systems for baggage security screening. They also include passenger boarding bridges and support systems for ground equipment.

Its baggage expertise includes automated outbound systems, autonomous baggage loading and transport, cargo handling systems and early bag storage. It also covers baggage software and SCADA controls, inbound claim systems, self-service bag drop and international recheck and transfer systems. The firm also inspects passenger boarding bridges and gate systems.
