About Instaclave Technologies

Instaclave Technologies is a research, development and manufacturing company that works in material sciences. It uses a process it calls Differential Pressure Assisted Resin Transfer, or DPART, to make carbon fiber parts. The company says it is the primary licensing source for the DPART process in aerospace, automotive, medical and manufacturing sectors.

The company says DPART parts made with the same carbon fiber materials and resins as standard VARTM parts are about 30 percent stronger. It says stronger parts can be made with less material, so they weigh less and can extend the range of drones, UAVs and electric air taxis. It also claims a 30 percent pricing advantage in a replacement and retrofit market that it puts at $40 billion a year.

Instaclave Aviation offers DPART carbon fiber upgrades and replacement components for military and commercial aircraft. The company says it has opportunities in aerospace available now. Its aerospace research team works on inflatable carbon fiber structures for large systems in space. The company says this work needs no molds, vacuum or autoclave curing.

The company also works on a system called the Large Scale Array Extruder, proposed to DARPA for deploying carbon fiber tube structures in space. It licenses the DPART process, DPART compatible resins and materials. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is named as a research and development partner.

Instaclave lists other target markets for its process, including medical, automotive, energy, construction, engineering, chemicals and materials. The company says the Department of Energy approved its contracts and provided funding for its development plans. A November 2025 release said it would begin manufacturing aerospace carbon fiber parts in early 2026.

The company also supports STEM programs in middle schools, high schools and colleges, to promote its design tools and processes to young engineers. It is a service disabled veteran owned small business.
