Inertial Labs, Inc. designs, integrates and manufactures navigation, stabilisation, motion control and remote sensing systems, with more than 25 years of industry experience. Headquartered at 39959 Catoctin Ridge Street in Paeonian Springs, Virginia, with a second facility at 2046 Samco Road in Rapid City, South Dakota, the company is part of VIAVI Solutions and includes Memsense LLC, an Inertial Labs company. Its products are built for platforms that must keep operating when GNSS signals are jammed, spoofed, cyber-compromised or unavailable because of terrain, dense urban environments or subsea operations.

Products

• Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT) solutions that integrate inertial sensors, multi-sensor fusion and AI-driven algorithms to maintain operational capability when GNSS cannot be trusted
• Single and dual antenna GPS-aided inertial navigation systems (INS), including OEM versions, combining L1 and L2 GPS and GLONASS receivers with inertial sensors
• Inertial measurement units (IMU), attitude and heading reference systems (AHRS), single, two and three axis gyroscopes (TAG) and three axis accelerometers (TAA)
• RESEPI, a LiDAR remote sensing payload instrument for UAV mapping, plus motion reference units and wave sensors (MRU and WS) for marine vessels
• The Railway Motion Control Unit (RMCU), digital tilt sensors and ground vehicle sensors and systems

Applications and support

Inertial Labs serves defence, aerospace, autonomous and industrial platforms including UAVs, helicopters, military vehicles, ships and trains, and exhibits at events such as the AUSA Annual Meeting and the First Responders Expo.
