Hawkeye Borescopes - Gradient Lens Corporation

Hawkeye Borescopes is the product line of Gradient Lens Corporation. The company makes precision borescopes for inspection work. The site says the Hawkeye range is used in aviation, automotive and other industrial markets. The company is moving to 4647 Jackson Lane in Phelan, California, from the start of 2026.

The range includes video and optical scopes. The Micro Q2 video borescope comes in diameters from 0.8 mm to 2.0 mm, and the site calls it the smallest industrial video borescope. A Dual View model has a forward camera and a side camera, so users can switch views at the press of a button. The site says it suits engine and weld inspection and aerospace parts.

The HD range includes the Q2 HD video borescope with diameters of 2.8, 3.9 and 6 mm, a four hour battery and interchangeable insertion tubes. The V3 servo model has a 5.5 inch touchscreen, servo driven articulation and WiFi streaming. The site says aircraft and turbine engine inspection suits the V3.

Rigid borescopes are described for straight entry paths. Micro flexible borescopes come in video and fibre versions, with side view options as small as 1.8 mm for small orbital welds. The site says its video borescopes range from 0.9 mm to 6 mm, with lengths up to 7.5 metres.
