GAZC

GAZC is a Spanish maker of machined detail parts for the aerospace industry. Its headquarters are in Getafe, Madrid. It also has sites in Seville, Spain, and in Bengaluru, India. The company supplies major aircraft makers and tier 1 suppliers.

The company says it has two generations of experience. It has more than 500 employees, more than 120 CNC machines and over 50,000 square metres of factory space.

The Getafe site covers 20,000 square metres. It does milling and turning, surface treatments and assemblies. The turning workshop uses multi-tasking machines for all types of material. Surface treatment facilities run automatic processes that major OEMs have approved. In Seville, one site has 5 axis machines for hard and soft metals, with long bed and short bed machines. Another Seville site does sub-assemblies, kitting and long bed machining. The 5 axis machines can produce parts up to 4 metres long.

GAZC also has assembly skills and approvals for many operations. These include fitting fasteners and bearings, sealing, riveting and crimping. The Indian site, called GAZC Pranavam, has 5,000 square metres and does milling, turning, sheet metal work and assemblies.

Its parts go into many programmes. For Airbus these include the A320 family, A220, A330 and A350. For Airbus Defence and Space they include the A400M, C295 and Eurofighter. For Boeing they include the 737, 787 and 777. GAZC also works on Gulfstream, Bombardier Global and Challenger, Embraer E2 and Legacy, Dassault Falcon 10X and ATR aircraft.
