About Flugschule Grenchen

Flugschule Grenchen is the flight school of the Segel- und Motorfluggruppe Grenchen (SMG), a club founded in 1932 that now has more than 600 pilot members. The school is at Grenchen Airport in the Swiss Jura and is an EASA Approved Training Organisation, CH.ATO.0134. Its aim is flying for everyone at a fair price, with low membership fees so young people can start too.

  • Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Instrument Rating (IR)
  • Glider licence (SPL) and touring motor glider (TMG)

  • Aircraft rental for private and commercial pilots
  • Trial flights, sightseeing flights and gift vouchers
