Finavia

Finavia is an airport company owned by the Finnish state. It manages and develops 20 airports around Finland, including Helsinki Airport. Its customers are airlines and passengers. The head office is in Vantaa, next to Helsinki Airport.

What Finavia does

• Runs the airports: terminals, runways, parking, security control and passenger services
• Builds flight connections together with airlines, regions and travel operators
• Manages large construction projects, passenger flows, logistics and data
• Publishes air traffic statistics for Finland
• Offers air traffic services training through its ATS Training unit

Airports

Helsinki Airport is the main hub. The regional network includes Oulu, Rovaniemi, Turku, Vaasa, Kittilä, Tampere-Pirkkala, Kuopio, Ivalo, Kuusamo and other airports in Lapland and across the country.

Sustainability

Finavia says responsibility is the cornerstone of its operations and safety comes first. In its climate work it aims for carbon negative airports and wants to help cut emissions across the whole air travel chain.

Recognition

The company says it has received international recognition and awards for customer satisfaction for more than two decades.
