FERCHAU

FERCHAU Aerospace & Defence is the aerospace and defence division of FERCHAU, a German engineering company. It is based in Hamburg. The division works with RST Rostock System-Technik GmbH to combine engineering and production for aviation, space and defence systems.

The division is a strategic supplier to Airbus for engineering, manufacturing engineering and services. It has a presence at all major Airbus sites, from Hamburg to Toulouse and Madrid. It has 13 offices across Europe and more than 1,400 industry specialists.

Its engineering services cover complex aviation, space and defence systems. These run from system architecture and development to project and partner management. Its experts also work in digitalisation, including data science, software development and testing, and cyber security.

The division supplies cabin simulators and training solutions to airlines and training centres around the world. It is a certified maker of wire harnesses and of automatic test and check-out systems. It is also a production partner for mechanical and electrical ground systems in several space programmes.

Its manufacturing, integration and laboratory facilities are certified to EN 9100, ISO 14001 and ISO/IEC 27001. FERCHAU offers flexible ways to work with customers. Staff can reinforce customer development teams, freelancers can take on critical projects, and the division can take full project responsibility.

FERCHAU has worked on technical development for 60 years. The division is a first tier supplier with know-how in system architecture, engineering, production and digitalisation. The division links development and consulting with manufacturing, qualification and market launch.
