BT2I Group is a French industrial group for aerostructures, space, defence and aircraft cabin interiors. The website says the group has nine production sites and about 1,100 employees, with revenue of 130 million euros. Its head office is in Mérignac.

The metallic solutions unit serves aerostructures, space and defence, with revenue of 100 million euros. It works with four technologies: large machining, small machining, sheet metal work and surface treatment. Surface treatment covers light and hard alloys, non-destructive testing, painting and silver plating.

Six specialized sites in France and Tunisia support work from prototype to series production on medium and high rate programs. The Bizerte site in Tunisia handles machining and sheet metal work. The company runs a high mix model, with about 90% stable series work and 10% fast turnaround speed shop parts.

The cabin interior business offers monuments and partitions, seats and seat structures, and cabin equipment. It describes these as integrated solutions for aircraft cabins.

Programs named on the site include the A320, built with Stelia on the Opera program. Its work covers primary and secondary metal structure, cabin equipment and seat structure. Other programs include the Rafale for Dassault Aviation and the Boeing 787 with Stelia on the Symphony program, covering cabin equipment such as tables and amenity stowage.

On Ariane 6, the company supplies mechanical joining parts, metal structure parts and surface treatment for ArianeGroup. Its markets include space, defence, equipment makers and aerostructures.

The group aims to strengthen its tier 1 position by 2030. It also plans to serve engine makers and equipment suppliers, and to increase long term contracts with customers. The site lists five product families covering the whole value chain, from large and small machining to primary and secondary structure assembly. The strategy is to specialise each site around its strategic trades and to diversify toward equipment makers and engine makers. Its sites are Rochefort, Eysines, Mérignac, Serres-Castet, Mondouzil and Bizerte, each with its own specialism.
