edataconsulting

edataconsulting is an IT consultancy for demanding and regulated industries, with offices in Germany and Spain. It describes itself as born in aviation. It was founded in 2003 as part of the German group edataunited GmbH.

The company has more than 60 experts and says it has over 20 years of digital know-how. Its offices are in Heidelberg, Germany, and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. It offers 24/7 support. Its website comes in English, German and Spanish.

Its services cover IT consulting, cloud, web and app development, AI and automation, and SAP BTP. It also offers data analytics, an IT operations team, and cybersecurity and systems work. The cybersecurity side includes a security operations center, user awareness, penetration testing, and audit and compliance help. The company also works in mixed reality and UX and UI design. It serves aviation, automotive and retail clients, among others.

The site groups its offers into five solutions. CyberOps is managed security with continuous detection and response. CyberCheck gives an evidence-based view of cyber risk and turns it into a plan. AIBoost helps turn business ideas into working AI solutions. ScaleOps aims to raise delivery speed while keeping quality in check. LeanOps connects scattered processes and uses AI to cut cost, errors and manual work.

The company shows two aircraft maintenance projects. One is a global knowledge hub for aircraft maintenance teams, used by more than 15,000 people every day. The other is a predictive maintenance tool for turbine engines. The company says it has processed more than 1,000 engines and automated over a million processes. The client names are not shown.

The company follows what it calls a Trusted AI Framework. It uses AI only when it adds real value, builds in controls, and keeps human oversight. It also offers a non-destructive check of what a company shows publicly on its domain.

The company says it holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 certificates, plus an ENS certificate for critical systems. It also lists NIS2 alignment where it applies.
