About DOMUSA GROUP

Domusa Group is an aerospace group that offers maintenance, repair and overhaul, original equipment manufacturing and research and development. It brings several companies together, including a Swiss subsidiary.

The group's story starts in 1989, when Satori began repairing avionics and radio components. Satori became part of the Cobham Group in 1998 and bought the Luxair Avionics workshop in 2000. It became independent on 28 September 2010, and that is when Domusa Group began. In 2016 the group bought Thommen Mechanical Instruments and created its Swiss subsidiary, Sathom. In 2021 it bought the former Meggitt site in Toulouse, which became All Precision Systems.

The maintenance side covers hydraulic systems, propeller systems, wheels and brakes, avionics, engine starters and flight instruments. The group says its average turnaround is under 15 days and that it handles more than 5,000 pieces of equipment a year. Satori focuses on avionics and electronic systems. Equip'Aero Industrie works on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, flight control parts, landing gear equipment and engine accessories. Technic Aviation handles propeller systems, engine components, fuel systems and environmental control.

The manufacturing side makes parts for commercial and military aircraft. It covers navigation systems, electronic components, mechanical systems and rapid prototyping. It also makes spare parts for older systems and offers help with obsolete parts through reverse engineering and redesign. Sathom and All Precision Systems lead the work, with Equip'Aero also making hydraulic and pneumatic parts. The group says its tolerance capability reaches plus or minus 0.001 inch.

The group also does research and development and runs testing and validation services. It describes a design path that moves from first concept and prototype to full production and support after sale.

On approvals, the group lists AS9100, Part 21G and Part 145 as its quality standards for manufacturing. It also says its manufacturing is ISO certified. Its MRO and manufacturing sites cover 9,500 square metres, and it serves customers worldwide. The group works in English and French.
