About Deloitte Ireland
Deloitte Ireland is the Irish member firm of the Deloitte global network, providing audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory and tax services. The firm has a team of more than 3,400 people in Ireland and is part of a network that has worked with organisations from the Global 500 to private businesses for more than 175 years. Its stated purpose is to make an impact that matters for clients, people and communities.
Aviation finance and leasing
Deloitte describes Ireland as the global centre for aviation finance and aircraft leasing, citing the country's tax regime, legal framework, skilled workforce, presence of major industry players, access to capital markets, government support and infrastructure. The Irish firm advises many of the world's largest aircraft lessors, operators, financiers and multinational groups on audit, tax and advisory matters, drawing on a network of member firms in more than 150 countries. In 2026 it strengthened the practice with the appointment of Ron Doyle, who brings almost two decades of experience advising lessors on domestic and cross-border tax. The firm publishes the Aviation Finance Leaders Survey, which in its 2026 edition examines geopolitical complexity, supply chain pressure and technology change in the Irish leasing sector, and shares Deloitte Global's Airline CEO Survey and Aerospace and Defense Industry Outlook. It has also supported Galetech Energy Developments, an Irish company working to reduce carbon emissions in aviation.
