Dallmeier electronic GmbH and Co. KG is a family-run German manufacturer of video security technology, founded in 1984 by Dieter Dallmeier in a garden shed in Regensburg and now headquartered at Bahnhofstrasse 16, 93047 Regensburg. The company develops and manufactures cameras, recording systems, video management software and AI-based analysis in Germany, controlling the entire value chain, and supplies airports, cities, stadiums, casinos, industry and logistics worldwide. It is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, follows the EU GDPR principle of security and privacy by design, is NDAA compliant, applies a no-backdoors policy with regular independent penetration tests, and keeps all components ONVIF compatible.

• Panomera multifocal sensor cameras, patented in 2011, which cover large areas and long distances with far fewer cameras than conventional systems; the company cites large-area surveillance with 90 percent fewer cameras
• Domera single-sensor cameras for over 90 percent of indoor and outdoor applications, including the RDF6900DN and SDF6900DN 12 MP domes
• SeMSy video management software from mobile-only to enterprise scale, with integration into many third-party VMS platforms, and the Hemisphere system

Airport solutions

The Panomera S8 Runway solution combines sixteen 4K sensors in one overview so that several kilometres of runway can be monitored from a single installation point, with all movements recorded for air traffic control, apron and other departments. Dallmeier also offers apron and turnaround monitoring of ground power, refuelling, catering, loading, cleaning and push-back, with video streams available to turnaround analysis providers, virtual and remote tower solutions, perimeter protection and passenger flow analytics, and publishes use cases from Istanbul Grand Airport and St. Louis Lambert International Airport, where Panomera cameras replaced a design that would have needed more than 130 conventional cameras. The subsidiary Dallmeier Systems in Gelsenkirchen plans, installs and supports projects, using 3D planning to create a digital twin of each site and a factory acceptance test procedure.
