BRM AERO, s.r.o.

BRM AERO, s.r.o. is a family run Czech maker of Bristell light aircraft. The company is based in Kunovice, Czech Republic, at Letecká 255. It builds all-metal aircraft for training, touring and sport flying.

The site says the company has made aircraft since 2009. It reports more than 1,200 aircraft delivered, over 110 built each year and more than 30 dealers. The aircraft fly in over 30 countries. Features named include a 130 cm wide cockpit, Rotax engines from 100 to 160 HP and Garmin avionics.

The B23 family is type certified under EASA CS-23. The B23-912 also holds FAA Part 23 certification, and the family is certified by authorities such as CAA UK and CASA. The B23M is the same platform made to meet the MOSAIC light sport rules. The UL/LSA family has Classic, RG and TDO versions with four Rotax engines. The B8M is a high wing model with the 160 HP Rotax 916 iS and a maximum weight of 800 kg. The Energic is an electric trainer still in development.

The company lists a whole aircraft parachute as standard on certified B23 aircraft and a Garmin autopilot. Rotax engines have up to 2,000 hours between overhauls. Parts include MT propellers, Beringer brakes and AmSafe harnesses. Buyers can pick livery, upholstery, avionics and propeller before production.

Recent news says BRM AERO was named Company of the Year 2026 in the Zlín Region, with a national final in Prague on 10 December. Norway's first Bristell B23 arrived at Oslo Flight Academy in August 2026. The company plans to show at SUN 'n FUN in Lakeland, Florida, from 6 to 11 April 2027.
